I will chase waterfalls damnit

It's so true that it can't make good t.v.; Bitsie Tulloch of Quarterlife was on The View today (I must interrupt myself here to say that this is the first time I've watched the show and it is truly annoying- The View that is) and she talked about how 20-somethings feel the need to have a definitive sense of self, but don't necessarily and that we are making decisions now that affect the rest of our lives from jobs to relationships and it's no wonder that we're so effin stressed out. really though, looking for a job is not fun in the least, and i also know when i get one that i'll be paid probably around 32k in nyc working my ass of and i'm not sure that even sounds appealing to a jobless homeless person. but i'm doing it because it is what i want to do so that i'd ironically enough not be a starving artist. i'm sure all of us who just graduated wonder if we just want what we want to get it, and that it might not be as great when we get there. then again, we don't really have a choice, when we simply put, just want to make it. on the other hand, it could be the best thing to ever happen. i'm taking a vow now that if i'm not happy (and if obama doesn't become president) or even if i am happy that i'm going to move to spain with amalia...to do something different at least. anyhow my rant is the same type of annoying dialogue that is part of the show... whiny sometimes, but at others it's just fun to watch. if you grew up with my so-called life, then you'll dig this. no old-school jared leto, but other lovelies.

i have a confession to make. i watch american idol and not only do i watch it, but i love it. today paula told david archuleta she wants to squeeze him and hang him from her rearview mirror. this is one of the reasons i watch. i'm also a fan of danny noriega cause we'd be friends even though he has better hair than me, ramiele malubay cause she's just cool (she also has better hair than me), and alexandrea lushington cause you can just tell she's a badass. she reminds me of lisa left eye lopez from tlc. speaking of which i miss tlc. remember when they had a reality show to find a new third member? me neither, so here's a tribute to them. i prolly just made your day by posting this song (if you're cool enough to like tlc that is):
